Chris Saudek is a senior Iyengar Yoga teacher who founded The Yoga Place in La Crosse, Wisconsin and continues to teach there. She has traveled widely to teach students and train teachers of Iyengar Yoga. Her love of the subject, her many trips to Pune for study, as well as her background in physical therapy contribute to her excellent grasp of the subject and her sensitivity to and compassion for her students.

Joy Laine has spent much of her life following her interests in the theory and practice of yoga. She is a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher and holds a doctoral degree in philosophy. She currently lives in Saint Paul, MN and has taught in the Department of Philosophy at Macalester College for over twenty five years where she teaches courses in Indian philosophies.

Leslie Dillingham Freyberg, through her love of Sanskrit and infectious sense of humor, has earned the reputation of leading engaging and meaningful courses in Sanskrit and chanting. Through her study and practice of Vedic chanting and the Iyengar method of Yoga, Leslie has joined the ancient lineage passed on through the great yoga master Srī Krishnamāchārya, who was the teacher of both B.K.S. Iyengar and T.K.V. Desikachar.
