In this course we will learn the entire Sanskrit alphabet in the original Devanagari Script. As the learning unfolds, participants will discover the beauty of their own voice through chanting every letter. Learning the five mouth positions is the key to find the correct pronunciation of each letter. Through learning the Devanagari one discovers that each letter represents a sound in one of the positions, as well as other ways of producing a sound which distinguish each letter from other letters. By Sunday afternoon, the entire class will be reading words in the Sanskrit Devanagari. This is an empowering course which will enable students to have quick access to pronunciation to virtually every word and phrase in the Sanskrit language.Find out more »
