Boston, November 3, 2016: Leslie and Tristan join Kevin at The Record Co. to begin recording the final two disks – chapters 3 and 4 of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. It went well! Chapter 3 is all recorded and we are looking forward to finishing Chapter 4 and recording some songs in early December.
Leslie Freyberg leads Patricia Walden’s 2015 teacher trainees in the singing of sūtras 2:28-2:29. This song is at the end of disc 2 in the Yoga Sūtras of Patañjali CD, for sale on the Purchase tab of this website.
“Hrdaye citta samvit” (sutra 3.35) and ” Maitri Karunaa” (sutra 1.33). These two sutras were dear to Mr. Iyengar’s heart. At the final evening event for the IYNAUS Convention, Boca Raton, Florida, May, 2016, Leslie Freyberg and Jarvis Chen lead the participants in chanting two beloved sutras from the Yoga Sutras of Patanjal.
